Beyond Gravity and Aspehof Real Estate Join Forces for Expansion
The space industry is booming—and Swedish players are at the forefront of driving its development. Sweden’s largest space company, Beyond Gravity (formerly RUAG Space), is collaborating with Aspehof Real Estate to build a new space factory in Linköping.
The Linköping operation is already world-leading in satellite deployment systems and this new initiative will double the production of satellite dispensers. This expansion is expected to create around 60 new jobs, increasing the workforce from approximately 140 to 200 employees. On March 15, the groundbreaking ceremony took place with key representatives present from Beyond Gravity, Aspehof Real Estate, the Swedish National Space Agency (Rymdstyrelsen), and Linköping Municipality.
Aspehof Real Estate is developing 5,500 square meters of attractive industrial and office space for Beyond Gravity in Linköping.
The new space factory, scheduled for completion in 2023, will be located in the Cavok District business park, set to become Linköping’s new aviation and space cluster. The facility will enable Beyond Gravity to produce one dispenser system per week—up from one per month currently.

In line with the strong sustainability goals of both Aspehof and Beyond Gravity the new building in Linköping will be environmentally certified and equipped with the option to install solar panels on the roof.
