Aspehof Real Estate AB has signed an agreement with Plannja, part of the SSAB Group, to construct a new production facility in the municipality of Vetlanda. The new factory will cover approximately 16,800 square meters and represents an important step in Plannja’s continued investment in future growth and modern production.
Construction is planned to begin in the coming period, and the completed facility is expected to be ready in the autumn of 2027.
Once the new factory in Vetlanda is completed, Plannja Steinwalls will leave Landsbro and relocate to join its sister company, Designtak. The co-location will create new opportunities for collaboration, efficiency improvements and continued development of the businesses.
“It almost felt unreal,” says Plannja Steinwalls CEO Torbjörn Henrysson about the news that the project has been given the green light.
The new factory will be designed with a focus on efficient production, sustainability and long-term development. The establishment also strengthens Vetlanda’s position as an important industrial municipality and contributes to the continued development of the local business community.
